This Lens Belongs in Your Camera Bag
I find that of all the RF lenses that are currently available, this 24-105mm f4L is the best fit for my type and style of photography, which is heavily oriented toward travel, street and landscape. Its very useful zoom range, sharpness and color rendition are all factors in my favoring this lens, which is colored by my previously using its close cousin, the EF 24-105mm f4L on my 5D Mark II. (In fact, I still use the EF on my EOS R because it is just a great lens.) The canon EF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM lens is a great walk around lens. It is a true work horse and Jack of all trades piece of glass for your camera. Great lens for portrait or landscape photography. Awesome but...
I absolutely love this lens but one thing that I don’t like about it is the vignette, especially when the lighting is bad. It can get pretty annoying at times. Other than that I have no complaints with this lens. I use it with my 6d mkii and it is just an overall awesome lens, not to mention the sharpness of this beast. The Canon 24-105 f/4L IS USM is by far the finest lens Canon has ever made, whether it is in EF, EF-S, or RF, bar none. I have owned both the EF/EF-S version and the RF version and they are both superior performers to any lens I have ever owned. If you don't have one, buy one. Best Kit Lens by Canon Ever
