Get what you pay for..
I got this one because I thought jeez can't go wrong for $30 or so dollars.. after plugging it in I have a service battery warning and thought maybe after charge cycling it or rating smc that it may disappear but no the message persists. After letting it run down to 2% then charge to 100% as per the instructions, it rapidly drains even faster than the old standard battery I was looking to replace. I have even reinstalled Mac OS but to no avail. I will be putting the original battery back in just in case, as this one is even telling me the full charge capacity is 5000mAh even after it is described as having 5800mAh and only being manufactured 2 months ago. I don't want this one too ruin my whole MacBook so I won't be using it unfortunately.

Image posted not the same as delivered. Case was over size and needed to be sanded to fit.
At first glance the shipped item looked different. It didn't have any screws or a black end with black lugs. Instead it appears to be a moulded clip together housing of one colour. The case was to thick that caused the lid on the macbook to not close properly and bulge up. Once sanding it to match the same thickness as the original the fit was better. At least the lid closed properly. After a few cycles of usage and charging the performance of the battery is about half of what I expected. From fully charged and in one continuous use the life is less than 2 hours. The original battery that has had 1300 cycles is just below this not to mention its over six years old. Lasted about 6 months
It was working fine but after about 4 months, battery’s not charging anymore. Had to keep the charger on to be able to turn my laptop on, if I take of the charger, laptop automatically turns off.
