Excellent, smalller-format speakers!
WHile Klipsch has long past moved production/manufacturing overseas, their quality remains top-notch. In this particular case - I was replacing an old and very large set of old-school, fairly expensive Advent speakers that were in need of new woofer surrounds (and my living room is just too small for them anyway). After some minor tweaking of the sound field in my Yamaha receiver - these speakers (in conjunction with my sub in the corner) have a more accurate sound clarity than those Advents - even in their prime - and while the total volume output is slightly lower - these speakers make up for that in their clarity - indeed, we are missing nothing and gained wonderful sound clarity - for both music and home theater use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A good speaker, but Klipsch's lower quality series. Still, a good bang for the buck.
I'm only giving them 3 stars because they are at best what was expected for the price paid. They are just not super impressive like my other Klipsch speakers. But they are just Refs and not RPs like the others. If you want a good speaker, go with the RPs. These I use for satalite speakers for my home theater system. The system is a small room system, so I didn't need anything super powerful to complete it. These speakers do the job nicely and I am happy with my purchase, just not wowed by their sound quality. The build quality is good. Klipsch doesn't build a bad speaker no matter what level you buy. I'm still kind of questioning my giving them 3 stars, but yeah, they get 3 stars. That is a true rating for their overall quality. My other Klipsch speakers get 5, and 3 stars is how these would compare to those. Great audio clarity, at the expense of low-end frequencies
Don’t get me wrong, this is a stellar speaker that delivers exactly what it was designed to do. Ironically, I got these to replace a pair of bookshelf speakers that had warm lows and mids, but not enough treble for the music I like to play on vinyl records (rock). I was pleasantly surprised at the ability to vibrate walls these small speakers have. I like to listen to 80's rock, and wanted better, but not big. And affordable. Ding ding ding, we have a winner. The man cave rocks. But do use with a sub woofer. OK without, but with, they literally will vibrate the walls. And made in the USA...... Small, but have a great sound and detail.
Very pleased with these speakers. I had a small budget, and was worried about whether these small speakers were going to perform. They have far surpassed what I had hoped for. Fine For My Needs
I bought these (and similar center speaker) for improved dialogue while watching tv. If you are a young audiophile with a fantastic hearing range and who wants the best, these may not be sufficient for you. Very good speakers and great value
Very good speakers for a very good price. In my large room (18' by 28' with vaulted ceiling), I considered using them for front speakers in my 5.1 setup, but when comparing them side by side with my larger Bose, the Klipsch sounded good but definitely sounded smaller. As a result I moved them to rear for surround sound, and they work perfectly there (in conjunction with the Bose fronts, Klipsch woofer and Klipsch center).
