    Nice all-rounder

This is actually a pretty nice wireless router. It is very stable, so you don't need to reboot it 2-3 times a week. Lots of features available if you need it, but works great right out of the box so it can be as simple or complex as you need it to be. I only have one complaint with this router that prevented 5 starts: the WAN port is 100MB/s. This makes a possible bottleneck if you have high-speed internet and you'll wonder why you're not getting the speed you thought you should. But, as I said, a very nice router for a great price.

  • Top critical review

Good Value - Easy setup as a router but be patient if you are setting it up as a repeater/extender on a mac!

I almost through it in the trash! Only because I did not really have a clue to how to set it up as an extender but had heard that it was good value and worked great. Went online and youtube to try and find out how - kind of did, but then fumbled my way through it and had success! Probably nothing to do with the TP-Link hardware - just if you are a newbie to this kind of computer setup stuff be patient. Great price and works a treat, but instructions on how to set it up as a range extender are non existent or hard to understand for a novice.

  • Wireless Router

It came with no power chord but apparently it was listed on item description so that would be our fault. Router has been a pain to set up because it comes with no manual and when we called technical support, who sent us instructions for set up, the router was missing one of the numbers on the sticker. To this day we have not been able to use it.

  • Fast Router

My old Belkin router was out of date until I purchase this router. Boy am I happy. To my surprise it also works with my Xbox great, and I don't have to spend a lot of money for a game router. I would recommend this product.

  • It works.

Does what it's supposed to do. No fuss, no muss, good price. Actually, the interface is very good because there's a column on the right side of the screen that tells you what all the features and settings are, if you're a newb. Great value, highly recommended. Been using it for about a month with absolutely zero problems.

  • Works Reasonably Well

I purchased this wireless router to replace a several year old Trendnet TEW-432BRP wireless router that was causing intermittent Internet outages in conjunction with my TP-Link TC-7610 DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem. In addition, my VoIP phone service had dead times that would last a second or two. This TP-Link wireless router has solved the intermittent Internet outage problem, and my VoIP phone service now works flawlessly. On the other hand, I was a little disappointed in the slowness of some of the web page and YouTube downloads using this new TP-Link wireless router. Otherwise, I would give this a 5-star rating.

  • Reliable, easy to setup, works good as an AP

I've used TP-link units before and have had good luck with them. I needed an AP, this was a reasonable price and seems to work fine with plenty of throughput

  • Perfect router for the average user

Let me start off by saying I purchased this router so that I could connect to the internet with a laptop that has a broken(physically) ethernet port. Thankfully I had another laptop to get this router going. Yes, you do need a wired connection to set this router up. After that you can connect any device wirelessly. I've only had it for about a month but during that time it has not needed to be reset. I download movies pretty much every day and use Origin and Steam. I don't use the wired connection so I can't say if they're good or bad. There are reviews out there for this router which suggest they are low-end and relatively slow. VERY good investment at $17.
