the binary question of whether this is easy is use would be based on how much experience you have with digital cameras. This is a very complex, and sophisticated camera good for beginners with a lot of patience. It is , for the size and money, VERY oriented towards a semi pro cinematic user. The levels of Codecs and other variables will take time to get to learn. Value for money for the Sony brand
I like how it is part of the E mount lens system of cameras. There is a learning curve with the usage as each camera brand has different user interfaces but this was also very noob friendly. There are extra programmable buttons for easier and a more customizable operation. Shoots in 4k30. The A6300
Well let me start by saying I am upgrading from a d5000 that I had for 5 years. I was intimidated at first since I was assuming it was going to be complicated. That wasn't true as I watched some tutorial videos of the a6300. Regardless just turning it on was simple to use if you are familiar with a dslr camera. The camera is simply amazing after you understand some of its features. Fast, smooth, quite, small, light, and a full magnesium weather sealed body. What more do you want!? I am very happy with this camera and recommend it to anyone since any lens can be used as long as you have an adapter. Grab one of these and you will be happy I promise. Only one single downside and that is the battery life; just buy another one and you will be ok. Also having a portable charger with you can help as this camera can charge by connecting it to the USB. Great deal, Kit lens is kinda useless.
I spent a lot of time looking for what camera I wanted and this one seemed to be the best at my price range. Its a great camera, very user friendly and portable. I only have things against the kit lens, which in my opinion makes the footage look like you just shot it on your iphone. The long lens on the other hand is incredible. Its really tight but if you back up 3-4 feet and set your f stops as low as they can go (4.5) then you can get some really cool shallow depth of field effects. All in all a good deal just wish it came with a wider lens that wasnt the kit.

Superb so far!
I'm completely taken by this form factor and quality, both of product and image. I can compare it to my Nikon D90, carry it anywhere, and shoot 4K video where my Nikon won't. Now that lenses are really coming along for these e mounts, I'm sold. I bought the a6000 when it came out and was stunned, and ONLY bought this for 4K video. With the Sony "G" lens, video is stunning as well. Manual control takes a little getting used to when composing exactly what you want, a little more involved than either the D90 or Canon D6, but again the payoff is in the portability of this camera vs. those. Everything works! I may very well bypass the new Alpha A series completely. And I see no real reason for me to need the a6500. Right now, all is well!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A little tricky to set up, but a great camera.
I intend to use the a 6300 for video, which has a number of tricky settings. The user interface is not the best, but yields to effort. Note that the rear LCD does not swing to face forward for composing and monitoring by the subject, requiring additional purchases of a monitor and probably a cage. Adapting to Nikon lenses is spotty at best and I wound up spending more than I planned, getting an 18-135mm Sony lens to get full functionality in focus. The good news is that there's no mirror flopping around and it is possible to set the LCD and viewfinder to show changes in exposure and other settings. The power in the palm of your hand.
In this small camera designed with incredible power and strength for creativity. Very good pictures and very good video. You can make a video format to Slog-2 And Slog-3. These formats are amenable to color grading and get a very cool image. Works great the autofocus. The only drawback: very long need to find some function in the menu. It is very confusing. But there is the possibility of programming buttons on the case, then the problem goes away. I recommend to purchase. The quality of the picture comparable to the Sony Alpha ILCE-A7SM2.
