    Spare Cables Are A Must-Have

    I learned a while back that Apple cables don't last forever. I also realized that it was a good idea to have a few extras, one for home, one for the car, one for the workplace, and backup cables when one wore out. The life span of these cables (with daily use) is only a few months, and at about the six-month mark, the soft cable casing starts to shred and expose the wires, so it's time to replace. That is the only reason I give these cables a 4-star rating; it would be great if Apple would or could design a sturdier, longer lasting cable. They're easy to use, and provide a great connection for charging Apple devices.

    For "genuine Apple" product, seems odd that it came with no markings in a generic clear package and no material indicating its origin. Otherwise it seems to be working fine. Other generics I have bought in the past did not perform correctly, so hopefully this one is the real deal.

    Quickly and easily connects my iPod Classic to my Macbook with no problems. Facilitates transfer and managing of files. No spontaneous disconnections.     OEM APPLE IPHONE 4s CHARGER

    My old oem iPhone 4s charger wire ripped (very common) where the pin connects to the phone. I never use this phone just have old pictures and music stored I needed to get transferred. Charger charges perfect! Well designed and perfect replacement (oem).

    Not sure it's really Apple produced

    The cord is high quality but not quite the same as my other Apple produced cords. The markings were different, and the size and shape of the plug were different. I compared to several known Apple cords I own. But, the cord seems of high quality materials and the end plugged into the Apple TV fits just fine. So one star off for origins but recommended.

    Watching and Waiting

    Currently is an excellent product.I really appreciated seeing the official stamp of manufacturing (all parts made by apple) on the pictures posted online prior to purchase. With regret I have purchased other cables that were advertised as apple products from other sellers only to find out that they were merely apple compatible and not truly an apple product. These cables then broke down with in three months. It has not yet been three months since I received this purchase so I am watching and waiting with curiosity. Hopefully this isn't another scam and these cables will truly last. Other than this concern the product appears good and the delivery and sale was smooth and efficient.
