Great value, as long as you don’t need the sound-recording feature; can use multiple feeders for multiple pets
I’ve been extremely pleased with these automatic pet feeders. As other reviewers mentioned, the sound recording feature does not work (or at least did not on mine), so if that’s something you’re dead-set on having then this listing is probably not for you. Other than that, this item works wonderfully. It dispenses food at the pre-programmed times and seems to dole out roughly the same amount each time. Programming the machine is relatively simple and painless if you can spare 10 minutes to read the instructions and maybe do some quick math to calculate portion sizes. I bought two of these, one for each of my cats, and I set the time on the second one so it dispenses ~15 seconds after the first— this way, my more voracious kitty is already busy eating and the second cat gets to eat her food at a calmer pace without intrusions. I would recommend these feeders as a great option for anyone who doesn’t want to spend $100+ on a pet feeder but also doesn’t want to be woken up at 5am by a hungry kitty pawing at their face. ;-)Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Didn't work!
We tried to program it numerous times. Every time it came to the time it was suppose to feed nothing happened and the clock went back to 12am. We even tried the manual mode and nothing. I have had several cat feeders and by far this is the best feeder and nicest looking unit. I have searched all over the Internet and all the other look so industrial this one is easy to program clear looking and accurate in feeding. You definitely get what you pay for ! I love that it comes with a plug or you can use batteries.This feeder is easy to program. My boy gets a little wet food 3x a day and I set this for his dry food for the least amount 4X a day. My kitty comes running when he hears the food drop! Yes he loves to eat!!!! If there's any left in the bowl at night, I open the top and put it back in so he doesn't eat all night long. Good but could be better !
I would Improve on three(3) things...... 1. Leave the LED light ON....... just show the Time of Day. 2. Put tabs on the side of the Inside Tray for Easy Removal; there is nothing there now to grab on to. 3. Recommended but with a provision.
Dispenser works perfectly but the voice recording has not worked at all from the day it arrived despite clearing and reprogramming numerous times. Fortunately, that function is not absolutely necessary for our purposes. My cat is so annoying and would drive me nuts meowing at me constantly for food. This machine has relieved so much stress from my life. He still meows, but now at his new robot overlord. I'm glad that he is now on a more controlled feeding and serving size schedule. Get this if you value your sanity. If it takes 4 minutes out of you day to stop what you're doing and feed your cat multiple times, this machine will save you 28 minutes a week, roughly 24.3 hours each year.
