Like everything Leica is it worth it? It's half the price of a Leica Q which does everything and goes as open as f1.8, its got a weird 34mm filter and wide open it's only a f5.6 so who would buy it? A Leica enthusiast thats who. It is Leica's smallest lens in years, the construction is at the long past M3 level. Its less than 7 ounces but it is so small it resembles a ball bearing in density. Of course it takes great images as they only had to design for f5.6. At 5.6 most everything is in focus at 28mm, with a little practice it can be super quick for street or candid photography, matched with High ISO sensors 5.6 is fast enough if you have any light. The rendering is a little bit vintage film photography. If you buy it you won't lose much and your grand kids can shoot with it.
