Filled Out My Mesh Network
When I purchased my Netgear NightHawk mesh network to replace an old one from Google, I needed another node as the original set came only with three. This one fit the bill perfectly and was easy to install. The NightHawk mesh system works better than the one it replaced. No more complaints about slow Internet speeds.

Works great so far
Had this for a couple weeks. So far so good. It went out one time. I unplugged the main router and restarted it. No problems since. I was having issues with coverage in my house. I have a small house. I situated the satellite router in the highest usage area and have not experienced dropped signals like I had with my old ac router. Speeds are better on my cell phone and Wifi 6 laptop. The other devices I don't notice much speed difference. I would buy this again. I see the value in the orbi wifi 6 mesh routers too. Good Luck.

Awsome little router
This is an awesome little router. It covers my 2,000 sq ft single level home in wifi, all by itself without any of the satellite units. Near the router, I get 230+ Mbs which is as fast as my wired connection. At the far end of the house with several walls in between I'm getting 35-50 Mbs. Setup and management is pretty easy with the app.

It did what I needed.
This was my third purchase in trying to extend wi-fi coverage to the whole house. I thought I was getting a Nighthawk 3-pack — the router and two satellites— so I was disappointed when the satellites were not included. But the one unit did the job. The key was connecting the Nighthawk to the modem by long cable running under the rug down the hall. Now I have two routers and great connectivity everywhere.

Simple Setup
Setup was easy and straightforward. Just followed the instructions on the mobile app. I haven't noticed any significant improvement over my previous Netgear modem/WiFi combo in terms of signal strength, however. I had to upgrade because my previous system wouldn't accommodate the upgrade to 400mps from Xfiniti. I have a faster connection now but not actual better WiFi coverage or signal strength.

Nighthawk is a Winner
I purchased the Netgear Nighthawk Mesh System over a year ago and have not been sorry. It’s maintained over 120 mbps download rate consistently with few issues once I was able to figure out how to update the router and satellites. I’ve been searching for a deal on additional satellites for the past several months and finally made the purchase. I worked for days trying to connect them to the app with little success while they were both reading as connected. Finally, after working with Support for several hours, we discovered by happenstance that we had a hot plug that was disrupting the flow of electricity through the home. Once the electrician was able to diagnose and repair the problem the app connected all 4 satellites and I’ve once again had no signal issues. The technology is sound.

Great product faster speeds and better coverage, still get fast speeds on the other mesh with ethernet!! Also if you already have Netgear router it keeps all your previous devices connected if you keep WiFi name and password the same. It is also better going from WiFi 5 to WiFi 6.

Kills the competition!
