NotesDigitally remastered and expanded edition. Contains the complete and long unavailable George Shearing trio LP JAZZ MOMENTS, which was the first and only album he recorded with the rhythm section of Israel Crosby on bass and Vernel Fournier on drums. Both musicians had been part of the celebrated Ahmad Jamal Trio and joined Shearing in 1962, but the group wouldn't recorded again due to Crosby's untimely death of a heart attack on August 11, 1962, at the age of 43. All five instrumental sides by Shearing's Quintet from an otherwise vocal album shared with singer Nancy Wilson, as well as two rare Shearing items originally issued on a Capitol single, and appearing here on CD for the first.
