This is a very complete router with plenty of processing speed and fast WiFi. The VPN and mesh features are nice additions for very little extra cash. It does not offer wired connectivity beyond 1Gbs but most do not have Internet connections that fast anyway. The majority of the configuration setting were straight forward. This router has been performing flawlessly for several weeks now.
The reason I did not give this router 5 stars is because STP (Spanning Tree Protocol) is turned on by default for WiFi and wired Ethernet connections. This would be fine if there was a way to turn it on and off within the user interface. But the only way I found for turning it off was via a "command line" terminal connection using Telnet protocol. Why did I feel the need to turn it off one might ask? Well, with the defaults set from the factory, the router was taking over a minute after Windows was running to create an Internet connection. This was through a wired Ethernet connection! After doing some research and applying the "command line patches", the Internet is now available on every boot, well before the Windows logon screen.
