    Great for freeway driving

    This Puig windshield is great for freeway driving! It takes the pressure off your chest and neck and deflects it up over your helmet. In my experience, 0-70 mph equals no real difference in performance. From around 30-70 mph I didn't feel the air hitting me as hard. From 70-90 mph I can feel a slight drag, but this is only when lane splitting between larger vehicles. Aside from that, I would argue that I am getting better gas mileage and reaching higher speeds with this installed. My top speed used to be around 96 mph, but I would have to be tucked down towards the handlebars the whole time, and I could feel the bike bouncing off the rev limiter. Since I installed this windshield, I have been hitting just over 100 mph on a regular basis without being in full tuck and without hitting the rev limiter. Needless to say I love this thing. If you're really tall, the wind will hit your head, so I recommend an additional visor that can clip on to this. (just look up motorcycle windshield visor) Yes the visor looks weird, but it will save you from the wind pounding on your head the whole time. This is a great addition to my bike, I highly recommend it! (2017 Rebel 500) (Puig windshield 9462H)
