  • Amazing

I’ve based my life on three books. The 48 laws of power, seven habits of highly effective people, and this one. THE book to buy. I read this in middle school when i bought it at a yardsale. Once i left it outside and it rained on it, buying again bc i love it, and i’d buy ten copies if i had to.

  • Still the most practical guide to screenplay structure and writing

There are far more comprehensive books on Screenwriting (Story, by Robert McKee is probably the Bible but this was one of the first and in my opinion is still the most practical. I can hold much of the information contained in this book in my head as I write. Although it is not the same, slim volume I bought back when it first came out. It's been added to considerably since then.
