  • Excellent Professional-Quality Microphone!

Rich, full-bodied tone. All the professional quality of the Shure SM-58, at a fraction of the cost. The amazing Pyle PDMIC59 will create a revolution in the audio industry!

  • sleek!

really like this mic. i use it to mic-up a amp to another, and very satisfied. transfers sound great. i have another type of mic, and this one blows it away. and it looks 'slick'. seems sturdy, good long cable, and has a on/off switch. all at a good price.

  • Great mic for the price

The vocal pickup was great, even without "eating the mic." And I don't project that well. The other guys at the first gig where I used these mics all said they only use Shure mics and I felt a little sheepish about having purchased these and at such a great price. But they delivered just fine, as good as much more expensive mics. And they seem pretty durable too.

  • Good 57 clone. Brighter tone (slightly). OK quality.

Shure SM57 clone. Sounds a bit brighter than a 57 but that can be useful, Quality is GOOD. I ave 4 of these - two of the XLRs do not 'click' into the mic body - have to be careful not to use these in a hand hand held vocal application. REALLY not bad mics.

  • Great value

Very satisfied with this mic especially for the price. I've had it for a while now and it still works great, very clean and clear, no noise or anything. I use it to sing and I also play harmonica through it. It's been doing well so far... thx!

  • Great Sounding Inexpensive Mic

I was impressed with this mic. I honestly didn't expect much and just wanted a backup, just in case haha But when I used it with my vocal processor was more than happy and am now using it as my main mic for my Busking Rig. It looks like a Shure SM58 but it isn't as heavy duty and it does have an On and Off Button and I have an SM58 as well and I can tell you for different applications it's really nice having that on and off button on the mic. I am very please with this product and Pyle offers great alternatives in inexpensive electronic gear. If you are concerned it won't hold up and be of quality, I can honestly say this mic is a winner. I bought another.

  • UPDATE

Previous assessment review was Mic being used with cannon to cannon cable.....If mic is used on cannon to 1/4 inch plug the mic will work flawlessly....Sounds decent and usable...just be advised the mic would have to be rewired if you want to run a cannon to cannon cord....to avoid severe damage do not use cannon to cannon without rewiring the mic.... I will change my recommendation to a positive...I would buy this mic again now knowing it's properties...

  • Low priced Quality Microphone

This microphone works great, so why spend more. It does need a pop filter or windscreen.

  • Basic Microphone

Thus item is okay. It's not lightweight but it is well constructed. It has good response.

  • It blew me away!

When I first tried this new mike I unplugged my SHURE SM58-LC and put this Pyle Pro PDMIC59 in its place using my own XLR cable and was amazed first by the slight INCREASE in VOLUME and secondly by how clear my voice sounded. I don't know if I lucked out and got an extra good one-off mike, but I love it. I let my local municipal community center try it with their PA system and now they want to order several of them. WARNING: Don't even use the XLR to 1/4" cable that comes with it; it picks up all kind of spurious noise. The cable is junk. Also: I suggest that you use it with a foam puff cover as it picks up EVERY sound you make; sort of like a condenser mike does. I routinely install foam filters on all of my stage mikes but this one really will benefit from that inexpensive addition.
