Quality at a reasonable price
The extra length/leverage in the handle makes cutting a little easier. Although I am not sure if it is worth the premium over the shorter version. Although if your fencing all day you might think otherwise. I prefer this version as it does not have the tiny recess at the base of the cutters to assist with thicker/harder wire. The recess version ( 71 31 250) can be a bit fiddly positioning thinner wire above the recess in the jaws. Some might not agree. My second pair. Yes easier to use than my Maun's but it can't quite replace them. A solid proven design that cuts easier and will outlast most of the competition.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
