    Good for the price, bright, but maybe too hot if run continuously in summer?

    I ordered these to retrofit incandescent marker lights on a trailer. They are plenty bright, though they tend pretty blue and do make the markers look green and purple. The ones with edge LEDs aren't quite as bright, but are less blue. Unlike the ones with edge LEDs, these do NOT have gold plated connector fingers. I wonder how long before the contact connections get corroded and problematic. Unfortunately, these get pretty darn hot. They dissipate a lot for something this size. I'm not sure they will hold up in the summer in direct sunlight--yes, I run with lights on in the day when towing. For intermittent use, they would be fine, but maybe not continuous marker lights. I thought I could pull the LED off the back side and halve the power, but the way they are wired in series makes it a pain... it will require changing the power resistor. I don't know why somebody doesn't make ONE SIDED lamps like these, since most applications do not need the back lights!

    Very happy with these LED lights. I replaced all the dome light bulbs in my conversion van with these. No problems whatsoever. They are a much "whiter" white and brighter than the traditional incandescent bulbs that came in the van originally. The color matches the other LED lights that are in the vehicle.
