If this had a rechargeable battery, it would get a 5
First, you need to like the bottles of the boss katana. If that’s the case, you will like this little lamp. Great Bluetooth connectivity, the ability to stream drum tracks, and the ease of operation of the app for the AmpKit self make it super easy to use. Phone is good volume can get way past what you need it to be for this style Amp, and it’s just a lot of fun. It’s just a little big to fit in a suitcase unless you pack conservatively. If you do, this is great to take on the road with the travel with guitar and use as your Bluetooth speaker your Bluetooth phone, or your white noise machine at night, in addition to being a great little practice amp. I have had several occasions where I have been playing and have had people ask me to come over and sit with them outside to entertain them with the drum tracks and the guitar. Nice sound, lightweight and compact, but pricey and transmitter has issues.
Good sound from a small, lightweight package. The transmitter module has a spring-loaded switch that in some jacks pushes it away enough that the connection is intermittent. Top panel lights are too small and dim to see outside. Lot of sound shaping options, but I wish there was a PC software option, not just Android & iPhone. Overall a very good-sounding amp, but expensive. If the wireless feature is important there are wireless transmitters that can be used on any amp.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

It Floats My Boat!
I've been seeking a modern, portable, reliable practice amp that can satisfy BOTH Acoustic and Electric guitars since Line 6 introduced their Amplifi series. I loved the Amplifi's techie saturated concept but no matter how bad I wanted it to work... it was always a low-fidelity 'noise' amp first without the ability to produce clear, hi-fidelity sound for either my acoustic or classical guitars. Designing an amp that can accurately reproduce hi-fidelity, low distortion sound begins with a good designed, quality build and above average components. As the old proverb states, "You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear", you can build a noisy amp but don't ever expect it to reproduce quality sound. Amplifi is the sow's ear. I thought about testing their newer Amplifi 30 but after many bad experiences testing a 75 and reading that I was not alone ... I lost all confidence that they could do HiFi right. The Katana Air checks many of my must-have boxes and it worked without a hitch. It was designed as a small practice amp and not a single solution for all your gigging needs. Adding in the convenience features like smart-on and multiple wireless features that include power/updating/tuning/modeling/backing tracks/guitar, makes this the practice amp I have been waiting a long time for. Finally, I can take an amp sailing without worry of 'butt cleats' or adding more hazardous lines to my boat.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This amp has great sound options straight out of the box. Hopefully, the app will improve with future updates. Regarding range it's really good. I couldn't believe how far away I could go. Size is great, throw it in a backpack grab my gig bag and I am off.

Space saving solution to plugging in, with fun effects.
This amp is great for those players that don't always have the time to plug in. I just grab the guitar off the wall and it's ready to go. Boss Katana Air Wireless
This is the most versatile amp I have ever used. It is simple, lightweight, and slides under the end table when I am not using it. I love the fact there no cord between the guitar and the amp. You just simply plug in the wireless jack and you're good to go. I also like the fact it can be battery powered. I can take this to camp or wherever theres no power.
