BAPMIC is a Chinese product. Cheap but works well for now. Life is unknown yet. Time will tell.
I bought Bapmic thinking it was implied as German but no. It is actually a Chinese company (Shanghai Tongzhi) just registered in Germany. Most probably made in China like Topaz (another brand they sell). However, it was cheap and works fine when fitted to my E90 320i. Quality seems OK but not yet proven. Not sure how long it will last but so far so good (two weeks since fitted). OEM quality (VDO) is overpriced and they fail too, so I replaced it with a cheaper unit as a trial with a lower expectation of longevity. Time will tell.

It works and it's cheap!
Fixed my starting issues, error codes and limp mode in my 2004 318i E46 executive sedan. I bought a 'genuine' branded one of these from the UK before and it only lasted 2 years, so trying the half-priced local one now. So far so good.
