Best streaming device I’ve used so far but Android TV Netflix app could be better.
Fantastic product which worked right out of the box even on a much older TV. Image is crisp and apps run incredibly often loading instantly. Remote and Game controller are both comfortable and responsive. I also use Steam Link on this over WiFi and power line and it works brilliantly almost as if everything was in the same room. My only suggestion would be the Netflix app on Android TV needs updating as the app won’t allow you to stream from your device if the Netflix accounts on your device and the Shield are different which makes it awkward to use with guests. NVIDIA Shield is definitely not the cheapest streaming device but I’d say you get what you pay for so. Very fast, easy to use and brilliant picture quality.

If you're happy with the bland stock apps this is great. If you want to add your own customisations and stream from other sources you will need some help. YouTube is full of ideas.

Very impressed with the Nvidia Shield.
Looks great, was easy to set up by following the onscreen commands and works perfectly. Mine is bluetoothed to my sound bar and I am pleased with the sound output. The remote is precise and the voice control works well. We have so far only accessed free games but the quality of these has been excellent, the gaming controller is responsive and has a nice quality feel to it. The home screen is easy to customise if you wish to change it. We have very low broadband speeds and the Nvidia seems to cope well with this limitation. Before I purchased I contacted Nvidia support to check out a connectivity issue I wasn’t sure about and I was very impressed with their prompt and accurate response to my query. My only negative comment (and this isn’t down to Nvidia) is the limited number of apps available on the android playstore.

Good things come in small packages.
Perfect for what I wanted it for, running Kodi and several retro gaming emulators. Streams 4k effortlessly and also the Nvidia gaming is top of the line. For such a tiny box this thing is well worth every penny.

Absolutely superb media streaming box. Having owned many different types over the years nothing comes close to the Nvidia Shield. It's fast, responsive, has a great WiFi strength and is able to play Netflix & Amazon Prime at 1080p. The remote is also very comfortable and responsive to use

Brilliant, copes well, simple to use
I wanted something that would cope with my large library of files but would be easy to use, and this fits the bill! Was worried that the remote was too simple, but actually having less buttons makes it easier and quicker to use (how often do you find remotes with multiple buttons but you only use about 3 of them?!). Genius!! Can totally recommend, no problems so far and very happy with it.

Powerful streaming device
This is hands down the best streaming device I have ever used. Once you understand how to set it up. (there are loads of youtube videos to help, especially if you want to put custom apps on). It performs excellent. I use it to gamestream from my pc and run emulators and in comparison to my old steam link, this knocks it out the park, normally getting a solid 60fps at 4k on my tv. The only problem I had is origin games don't seem to work, but from reading forums this is actually origin and not nvidia. Highly recommend this product.
