The UDM Pro performance over the USG line is significant, but the software and firmware leave a significant amount of features promised and basic functionality on the table. The ubiquiti unifi dream machine pro is a top end home or small to mid size business router/nvr/etc machine. Very capable and well built. Cons are the machine was introduced in 2019 (so I expect it to be replaced soon), ethernet ports are not POE and are gigabit not 2.5gbe or 10gbe. Great hardware and software integrations.
