Pricey add-on but works great
Had to upgrade my Rainbird controller. The new one was compatible with the WiFi module. It’s too expensive for what it brings, so I’ve waited a couple of months, but finally got it. Works great. Decently done installation step by step, require your phone to be on a 2.4GHz WiFi, but after that the App is convenient and easy to use.

Great start, but needs some work
Overall, if you're wanting to make your sprinkler smart at a fraction of the cost, go for it, but be ready to troubleshoot. It is either the device or software that is a bit buggy, likely software. Has a hard time keeping connected, especially if the router got turned off at some point. Should be able to easily reconnect. Was able to turn on sprinklers with phone and adjust programs, which is a big plus. Still winter, so haven't really gone into overdrive with playing with it. Time will tell this spring.

Great investment!
My wife and I own a house in Austin but live overseas. Before we purchased the module we had to pay $400-500 per month when our sprinkler system kept going on at insane hours for some reason. It was a mess! Now, when in Shanghai or Taipei or Paris or anywhere we often go on our travels, we can check the local Austin weather reports and adjust our sprinkler use - and water bill costs - at any time of the day. It’s incredible and a great investment. The app is easy to use and I prefer adjusting the sprinklers in lazyboy over our garage with mosquitoes eating me raw. Trust me, this is a good investment! Must have, works well
Shipped to South Africa, available locally but cheaper to import from the States. Works well on my Rain Bird. Wi Fi signal is weak to middling where the controller is located, but it works just fine. The associated Rain Bird Android App on my phone is intuitive and easy to use.

It works but the user experience in the app is very confusing. I still don't know if I've set up my programs just right. At least connecting it was fairy easy and straightforward. It's just the WIFI connection is weak.

Great Product, we can check and follow the irrigation. It's not expensive, it's not cheap as well, but it's a good value. I should buy it before. The App interface is poor, with many problems in UX. Work enough good, but the interface could be better.
