Excellent for casual shooters and beginners
This camera is light and small with a lot of functions and features. People said 43 sensor is small and phone camera is better, unfortunately they are wrong. I have used many camera brands and phones, if I want to have a phone like pictures then basically you just need to crank up the saturation output of your camera, but then it won't be realistic anymore. To me, this Olympus/OM System camera has the best jpeg color output, minolta is at 2nd position, the color look natural and true to life, of course you still have option to crank up the saturation in the menu. Furthermore, it has so much configurations in the menu thus don't quickly judge this camera if you haven't explored all those configurations. Auto focus wise, it is almost as fast as the leader, I use this camera to take pictures of my 10months baby and it can keep up with his active movements, frankly speaking don't expect sophisticated eye af detection but face detection is accurate and more than enough for my standard. Noise, up to ISO 6400 the noise still acceptable, and right now you can use OM Workspace (free if you buy the camera), download the AI Noise reduction and it is quite good to reduce the noise. Lens selection is much much better compared to any APS-C brand except Fuji, and olympus lenses normally very sharp. This camera has weakness in the tripod mount as reported by many, just don't put any thing over there except mount to tripod or camera grip and you will be fine. Overall this is a very good looking camera with underrated capabilities.

Excellent image quality in a portable package.
Great features - super portable - very good image quality. Not a sports shooter bough this as a travel camera - tired of carrying around my D780 and FF lenses for no appreciable benefit. If like me you don't shoot indoor sports or low light sports - this is the ideal travel camera.
