I decided to try a Panasonic lens along with my other L Mount lenses for several of my cameras. The lens has good specs @F1.8 and a valuable focal length. The prices are low to moderate in the used market. It is full frame and so works well with both my APS-C and FF cameras.
On the downside, the build quality is so-so and it has no aperture ring so it is not really a good candidate for use with an adaptor. The auto-focus hunts more than any other lens I have used and does not inspire confidence. IF you get lucky with the auto-focus or IF you decide to focus manually, you can get good image quality. This is certainly an adequate and well-priced lens from an excellent manufacturer.
But for me, since the lens has some close competition with Sigma lenses, for the price I would want the Sigma lens with the aperture ring. If I had a Panasonic camera, I believe the choice tilts back to this Panasonic lens. I guess I am saying that you cannot go wrong with this lens, but you may be able to do better.
