Not a typical time travel show
I started watching this show last season and found it to be a breath of fresh air. Most time travel shows focus in on the actual time travelling and make it a gimmick. With Timeless, the time travelling is the background. The main focus of this show is its characters. You care about them. And things that are changed when they come back from any time period are not solved in one show. Created from Eric Kripke who also created Supernatural, and yes there is an Easter Egg in one episode (look for an Impala in another time). Plus, it is one of the only shows in recent memory that actually teaches history. It makes me want to look up facts about history and see how close they got. I've heard of teachers showing Timeless in class! When was the last time a TV show gave us something to think and talk about? Unfortunately, quality TV these days are not popular. NBC knows this so they put Timeless on at 10pm when it should be seen earlier with family.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Timeless season one
One of my favorite shows now on cable. Love the characters, historical plot, humor and romance. This show has a little bit of everything. Baffles me as to why they were considering canceling it. Time Travel, great television
If you love time-travel, this show is for you. Good characters and situations meticulously researched built around real and actual historic events. The show is on Hulu, but like Netflix, Hulu does not keep shows like this on for extended periods of time. In my opinion, this show is easily a once-a-year repeater. I purchased this because when it's no longer in the lineup, I will want to see it again. Lastly, the second season is not as good as season one until it gets near the end. It's Time For More Timeless!

This show is AWESOME.
I loved this show when it aired on NBC but hadn't gotten the chance to rewatch S1 prior to the finale movie that aired in December 2018. After loving the finale movie, I asked for and got S2 for Christmas and decided I had to have S1 as well so I could rewatch the whole series as often as I want. It did NOT disappoint me one bit and in fact, I saw all sorts of new things upon my second viewing that just made it even more enjoyable for me. This show is such a gem and its a shame NBC didn't give it better time slots and more of a chance to succeed. My husband is a history teacher and we love this show! There are parts of it that isn't real, but there are parts of it that are accurate. It is so neat that my husband even uses it as a reward for his AP History class after each test. This show is really interesting and fun to watch.
