    Zevon's at His Best

    Zevon's best album, in my opinion. Songs dripping with sarcasm, humor and shock, yet very catchy. Consider The Werewolves of London (featured in the classic 1981 horror/comedy An American Werewolf in London), Excitable Boy, Lawyers Guns and Money, Roland the Headless Thomson Gunner. A great, unique talent. I miss him.

    I would buy this cd just for one song, Tenderness on the Block. Everything else is gravy.

    Werevolves of London was his radio hit, but all song are good to great, but not well know. I did not all of them. Glad to have heard them now.

    Warren Zevon is a favorite musician of mine, much of whose memorable work is included in these CDs such as Werewolf of London & Transverse City. With his loss to cancer, a great singer/songwriter departed this shore. Listen, enjoy, repeat.
