Great price, good controller, BUT
The Hori Fight Commander OCTA, is a great control for the price. I love the design of the bumper buttons and triggers, BUT if you’re use to the PS controller ( PS4/5) and Xbox controller, there will be a learning curve, because of the six button layout. I use the Hori controller for Street Fighter 6. I hold the Hori controller with a traditional grip on the controller, and when doing so, I tend to push the top and bottom buttons at the same time. I’ve used it like I would a fight stick, but it’s honestly a bit cumbersome. Also, it would’ve been great if the Hori controller was wireless.

Not the best
Dpad is too soft. Cant connect to the app thru my iphone. Cant assign 3 buttons to be one (3 punches to one button). Octagon gate for thumbstick is useless on 2d games. Price is too high for such weak features. Only get this if u want to play old school shooters and such. The face buttons do give a rewarding click sound/feel.

Satisfied with the functionality of the pad. Only problem is that I need to remember to engage the lock switch before playing against people as it's WAY too easy to hit a wrong button going into a menu or pausing things. Also, the buttons are too large making it easy to accidentally fat finger buttons I don't intend to hit. 9/10. Recommended.

USPS almost made me give this a 4Star. Usps is bad around here unfortinately. The Hori Commander was almost new, even the Box looks new. Fully tested on Ps5 & PC. Hori Manager puts the doubts to Rest. Saves settings made no matter what pc or console you use. NOTE: PC PS5 & PS4 all have Own settings, must config each Profile of each* For 100% performance

This is the best fighting controller if you don't want to go with a fight stick. It's durable, comfortable in the hand, and the buttons are very tactile. The layout is also very efficient for fighting games.
