Moves more air for its size.
I have been using this kind of fan for many years now. I like them for the amount of air they move but they do not last more than a couple years of constant use. They do move as much air as a 20" box fan in a much smaller and lighter fan. I like to keep a spare new one on hand for when they do give up the ghost.
