Double Induction Cooktop.
Light weight and simple to use. Works much faster than an old type electric hot plate. The induction cooktop heats your pan almost instantly, boils water much faster and yet is economic on power because all the power used goes into heating the food instead of the hot plate. Coupled with a digital timer you can set and forget because it will switch off automatically when the set cooking time is up. The heat controls are instant, you can set it hotter or cooler at the touch of a button.
