Macuvison Tablets seem to work.
I just had my latest eye test and my macula has not degenerated since my previous test 12 months ago. The optometrist thought that was probably due to my taking the Macuvision tablets. (I am 83) This was good news for me and I had not noticed any deterioration in my vision either.
