Product description claims filter is made of special filter material, made in New Zealand and great quality. There is no evidence of this as is delivered unbranded, unpackaged and no country of origin label....very much like the cheap ones.

Nasty chemical smell
I was happy with the price and the speed of delivery but these filters have made the water in my spa smell terrible. It’s a petrochemical smell. I wouldn’t use these filters without soaking them in an oxygen bleach and rinsing them thoroughly first.
