Hobie Pro Angler rail mount for lowrance
Greetings to all and I hope this review is helpful to some potential purchasers. I bought this Ram tough claw (small) to mount my lowrance elite 7 fish finder on my 2013 hobie pro angler 14 kayak which doesn't have the h rails. I have my lowrance mounted on the ram universal mount with a 1" ball. I have a 4" double socket arm to connect lowrance to tough claw. This is a solid mount and the 1" ball holds this unit. I recommend the 1.5" ball for the larger fish fiinders but I was hoping this would be solid and it is so I will stick with it. Now I don't have to buy the h rail upgrade kit to have a moveable mount.
