Lightweight With Great Features
The Canon Pixma ip100 prints well for a portable printer. I will be taking it on a trip next week and will try it out as a "road warrior" printer, but so far it has worked well. Easy to set up -- if you have Win 8 or higher, you don't need the install CD to set up, just plug it to your laptop and it automatically acquires the Canon drivers. I had no trouble installing it on my desktop (as a second printer) or my other peripherals. It will also serve as a backup printer if my desktop printer is either engaged or stops working. The bluetooth dongle shipped with the Pixma doesn't work, but I realized it was a copy of the original and at some point, I'll purchase the authorized dongle. All in all, the Canon Pixma has not presented any problems with respect to installation and print quality. You'll hear from me if it does.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Canon iP100 mobile printer
Printer was really well packaged and came through the mailing system undamaged. Printer was bought as a replacement for a similar printer that quit working. Before the printer arrived, I was able to get the original printer working again so haven't had to use this one yet. Had to replace both ink cartridges as they were used up before I could get it to print but appears to be good to go now. I installed a bluetooth dongle in the printer but haven't been successful in getting that to work for some reason. I haven't spent time working on that but hope to solve the problem eventually. Printer is fine, but much preferred prior design
This printer is replacing the beloved by me, but no longer in production, BJC-55. This printer is a fairly large device for a portable printer. I obtained a case that it fits in for extra protection and it takes up half the space in my computer bag. Setting up the printer is easy, and it prints very well. The ink takes a LONG time to dry on Avery clear labels, so if you're going to print address labels to or from, I would print those on a regular printer either at a hotel business center or before leaving home. I carry this printer with me to be able to print adhesive name badge labels that are affixed to postcards describing places I am visiting. It works perfectly for that. I also use it for business purposes to print forms/instructions when I am at a client site visit. Unfortunately, I cannot rely on hotel printers as often they are out of paper, or worse, empty ink cartridges with no replacements available. I obtained the external battery to be able to use this printer without a power source attached, but have NEVER been able to figure out how to use the damned thing. Again, the BJC-55 was a superbly designed and extremely functional printer and I have no idea why Canon would stop making such a fabulous device and replace it with something like this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Best little Printer
I held off writing this review until I had used this printer at a 3 day function that usually requires a great deal of printing with corrections. LOVE,LOVE,LOVE it!!! So glad I had it. It kept up with every thing I needed. I didn't need to replace either ink cartridge until the last day of the convention. It's a quick printer for the size and had no difficulty with cardstock. Excellent Fully Mobile Printer

What a little work horse!
This is the third Canon printer I've purchased, two of them the previous model iP100. I use it as a secondary/back-up printer to my larger Canon. I like the print quality (I use Canon-compatible ink cartridges at great prices) and the portability is a must for my travels. I recommend this printer to anyone in any situation. Canon iP100 Printer and DS-600 both excellent.
I actually bought this Canon because the one I had, after many years and some hard use, had some issues. Probably the best portable printer I've owned; and I've owned a few. I viewed the DS-600 scanner as a interesting part of the bundle, but didn't really know anything about it. Canon iP100 portable printer
I was very excited to receive this printer! It is exactly what I needed and am now able to print documents away from home. I use it mostly for when I'm working on genealogy. It was difficult to set up. I couldn't get the CD to work on my laptop. I spent several hours before I finally got everything working. The ink cartridges were already installed. Despite all of that, I enjoy using the printer. The print quality is good, but sometimes the ink smears on the paper. It prints on regular paper and also does a good job printing photos.
