Wish it had an off switch
Even though there is a knob on this model, for some reason it only turns high or low there is no way to actually turn it off. So you plug it in, turn it up and it cooks great. But after you're done all you can do is turn it down to low and unplug it. Delicious grilling every time.
I love cooking out but cooking out for one is just to bothersome and to much clean up. I purchased the Hamilton Beach Sear Grill and it is the perfect size and I haven't had one thing over cook. Just follow the provided instructions and everything comes out perfect every time. I have had the best steak done medium rare and it was delicious. Clean up is a breeze. Just soak the grill is soapy water for 5 minutes and you are done. No more standing out in the cold trying to cook on the grill for me. Works well, but cleaning is Not easy. The grill itself has too many nooks and crannies to be able to clean easily. I’ve only used the Hamilton Beach Indoor Smokeless Grill a few times, but am impressed with just how smokeless it really is. My skepticism was quelled. Upon using it the first time, I placed it directly below the exhaust fan on the kitchen stove/microwave oven, concerned about setting off my fire alarms. My concern was quenched.
