Camry feels like a Corvette now
Short throws are amazing. I put this Megan racing shifter in an 09 Camry (even though a Camry should never be modded) and it made a huge difference in driving. The old shifter felt like you were stirring yogurt when changing gears. This feels like an F1 car. Shifts are super fast, satisfying, and easy to find. With the old stick, misshifts happened pretty often. That hasn't been a problem yet since installing this. I would short shift my automatic if I could.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

How it should have been from the factory.
If you hate the stock, chunky feel of the TC shifter, this kit fixes that, and when combined with a weighted knob, the throw is crisp and smooth. Shorter than stock, but not so short it feels weird to daily. Honestly it's pretty perfect. The solid bushings honestly don't vibrate at all, so there really is no downside to installing this short throw. (4 stars because there are absolutely no instructions to install, but it's not that bad to figure out. The purple cylinders go in place of the bushings on the bottom of the plastic cradle.
