Perfect Choice!
Owning a van with only 2-way door speakers, I wanted a bit of bass without taking space from the cargo area. Surprised by it's output.
Coming from comp audio and competing in SPL competitions, i was hesitant in buying this sort sub. I've quit competition style events and moved on in the real world and now need space in my car. Every so often I would have to remove my subs to gain access to the boot and now gotten over doing this all the time. Seeing the reviews, I had to buy a pair and test them to see if it was any good for later installs. There is no replacement like displacement but still very impressed by it's punchy output. Setting the unit in deep mode was like having a sealed small subs box. Rock, alternative and heavy metal sound awesome but sound gets a little lost in dub and teckers, but what do you expect in such a compact box. I've installed two in a small hatch, one under each front seat. Excessive? Maybe, I am coming down from large subs and I like to party. It is clean sound and the level can get loud and shake the seats nicely without breaking up. Very impressed by it's output, very happy with the purchase. There is one thing that I wish Pioneer could of improved on, when you buy 2 or more, I wish you could use one remote and link them up. Looks overkill with 2 remotes up front, or maybe I went overkill. Other than that, I couldn't go without 2 of them. Well done Pioneer, excellent product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

So I got this Pioneer TSWX130DA to add a bit of bass to my Evo 10's sound system, keeping in mind that I did not want to sacrifice any rear boot space with a traditional subwoofer and box. After doing some research and opting for this unit, it came within the timeframe. Hooking it up was simple, I personally opted to have another in-line fuse just for some extra peace of mind. The install took no more than 1hr as I had to pull apart trims and clips to access the remote wire and RCA's behind the head unit, and we were bass boosting in no time. I highly recommended this unit to anyone who wants that extra bass in their car's audio system but does not want to sacrifice any space. It sits nicely under the seat and has no issues with modern cars with airbag wiring and seat heating. The sub is hidden out of sight, not taking up boot space and also not being muffled by being in the boot. The remote control allows easy adjustment. Just buy one.
This little power house is mint for small cars I installed it in the wife’s Suzuki Grand Vitara and it’s mint! Installed it under her seat and found only vibrations and it sounds better under he passenger, I disconnected everything and ran it to the boot where it honestly gave the best bass and sound out of the whole car, still vibrating the place when you crank it but in a good way.
