Buy it if you need it.
This stove has some practicality in certain situations where you had a small USB device that needed to be charged or where you needed a light to cook by. Could be handy for charging USB chargeable things on extended hikes and open fires were permitted. Also, if you owned all the accessories you could cook and boil water, etc. Pretty cool idea. Biolite would be smart if they produced a small, light weight water driven turbine to produce DC as the Germans have developed. Bio lite2 wow
I've found that you need to spend some time getting to know your bio lite. I've added a screen mesh to protect the units metal part and to keep it from bending from the heat alone. DO NOT STUFF WOOD INTO THE STOVE. You will break it. break up your pieces of wood so that you are holding a hand full to be put inside before your about to heat something. Keep the fan on the lowest setting. If you want to lower the amount of air. Use high temper tape to cover a part of the vent hole going into the unit. This works for me but for others... who knows.

No cons here! Light weight, portable, efficient, affordable and user friendly! Charge your devices while burning or not! No clean up needed, simply just dump out your cooled ashes. (Please make sure your ashes are completely out before dumping, dig a small hole in the ground and dump them in there if not sure and cover with dirt) Please, no more unintentional forest fires. Keep it in your camping gear! Keep it with your tail gate gear! Keep it in the trunk of your car! I use mine for fun sometimes in the backyard just to get the camp out smells and warmth when i can't get to the mountains! Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed!
