    Easy setup, works well.

Great if you live in a poor signal area. Easy to set up and fix and forget. Good long leads , easy to connect to the router. No hesitation in recommending product.

  • Top critical review

    Doesn't really do the job.

I live in a pretty well-covered area. My phone always manages to get me the strong signal there without any issues. Just before buying this, we bought an ASUS 4g LTE router, with 4G antennas attached to it. It managed to do about 40Mbps(download)/20Mbps(upload). We had expectations that this device will improve that at least a little, but it did not. It actually decreased, when we plugged the external antennas. For this amount of money, I believe, I've got no real value.

  • Broadband Beauty!

Installed an ee 4g router as rural broadband so poor, 1-1.5 meg and with the jump in homeworkers pretty much useless. New wi fi was now 3-4 meg but still poor. EE can provide similar but had stopped installing - fair enough given the Covid lockdown. Connected this up in a few minutes and now getting 10-15meg and 20 on a good day. Fixed to the window so not quite pointing in the right direction as we know from our neighbours that set on a small mast more is possible. However we are now able to both work from home with the likes of Zoom and Teams working too. Only downside is that the router contract is only 200gb a month, you can top up though.

  • Very happy

I fitted this inside the house (in a window using the suckers), and it increased my router download speed from 50mbps on a good day to a consistent 70mbps. I could possibly get more if I mounted it outside, but I'm concerned about lightning strikes, drilling holes for cables etc. I was happy with everything, the only teeny thing that would have been handy was SMA to TS9 adapters in the box, as the latter is what my 4G router requires for external antennas.

  • Bigger isn’t always better

A very compact and very effective antenna. I live in a narrow, tall sided valley and have struggled to get a signal from the start. Also no phone or tv. This has given me a reliable internet connection trebling the speed and making tv and phone over data accessible. Well worth the price and no messing around, just plug and play. The cable is a little on the short side for me but would be sufficient for most people. I have tried two other antennas but this is far superior. Highly recommended.

  • Does the job well

Comes with all the fittings for wall, pole or window mount. 5 meter cables with plugs already fitted. Connected straight into Archer MR200 with EE sim and get 3 or 4 bars signal strength all the time. Now get between 20 and 35 Mb in an area that previously had 2Mb on BT. Happy with the antenna and the MR200 4G modem. Very easy to set up as well.

  • Really Good Antenna for both 3G & 4G

This antenna works really well for both 3G and 4G signals providing it's in range obviously. I'm 4km away from my nearest 4G mast and still get a steady signal. Only downside is that the cables from the antenna (if you use them) to reach the router are only 5m in length, so router needs to be within 5m of the antenna i.e Upstairs in my case.

  • Faster than a speeding bullet!!

I put this LTE 4G router in to a site next to Heathrow Airport (the world's busiest?) where the traditional ADSL speed was up to 3Mbps. No fibre available, I ask you!. As soon as it was connected the ookla result was hitting 50Mbps download. Big happy smiley faces on everyone in the office and guess what? The monthly price was just about the same. One day, there will be no more BT. Yeahhhhhh!

  • Flatters to deceive

Have really struggled to set this antenna up successfully, there were no installation or user guide in the box other than simple instructions how to fix it to the wall/pole etc. In practise it has proved extremely directionally sensitive and performance fluctuates wildly even when pointed directly at the mast which is within clear line of sight. It has proved totally unreliable and less effective than simple external antenna “ears” mounted to the back of the router. Don’t waste your time or money.
