It's all in the price
Modest sound quality, and cheap plastic. HOWEVER, if your careful (again it is cheap plastic) with these they are great general monitor phones that are very comfortable and come with a very useful adapter (i can never have to many 3.5-1/4"). Recommended. Probably buying some more for my podcast talent and for general editing purposes. You can't beat the price for what you are getting. Really Good Headphones, but not very comfortable
Good for short listening periods, but not for extended periods. The ear pads have good cushioning but its not anything special, could be a little better. Doesnt have a lot of low end (you don't feel it, you just hear it). For the price of $15 it's worth the price. It came with a free 3.5mm to 1/4 jack adapter.

The sound quality is terrible. It's funny that it advertises as being an upgrade from earbuds but the earbuds I bought at half the price have a better quality of sound than these. I would not recommend these at all. They honestly remind me of sound-restricting headphones made for children which are designed to dull the sound in order to prevent them from damaging their eardrums. Which in return require you to put your volume higher in order to hear anything at all. The only upsides to this purchase is that they are sound-cancelling, meaning the padded design of the headphones blocks out a decent amount of outside sound. Comfort & sould quaility are outstanding!
Frequency range is outstanding! My old set was destroyed so I bought these as a temporary replacement until I could afford something with a bit more quality. I won't be replacing them, they're much better than the price makes you think they are. Deep bass and crystal clear mids & highs make them well worth the cost.
