It also has a feature that wasn't advertised but should be: The plug is twice as sturdy as most and has a finger-sized hole to make it easy to pull out of the outlet. Expensive but not great!
Good looking toaster but it does not toast very even. The outside of the toast was done correctly but the inside was only browend on the left and right edge. The middle of the bread was not toasted. Works well, toasts evenly, looks great! Not a lot of crazy buttons & whistles, just great functionality! Really like the plug design with the whole in it, makes unplugging from the wall outlet very easy; great idea! Also, being able to wrap/store the unused cord length underneath the toaster is very convenient, keeping the counter top uncluttered, but also keeping the toaster from that annoying issue of sitting on the cord.

The center of the universe has toast!
For many men the toaster seems to be the center of the universe. For that reason why not spend a few bucks more and have this high point of the day really go well. I am very happy with the Breville two slice. I believe there is a model above this one. It heats quickly, evenly, consistently, and is very predictable. It is easy on the eyes as well.
