Zagg’s Rugged Book is my favorite keyboard case for my 9.7” iPads. It offers great heavy duty protection, fits well with a screen cover, and has a lighted, fully functional keyboard. I’m happy to have found this one to fit my 2016 iPad Pro, which needed replacing. Item arrived early, well-packaged and in new as described condition. Will definitely purchase from this seller again. The Zagg Rugged Book Rocks!!!
The Zagg Rugged Book is a very good case and keyboard. It is rugged indeed. I have used one for my mini iPad for years. The battery life of the keyboard is an astonishing two years.... I think: in all the years I have used it i only charged it when I would go on a multi-week trip, about once a year. Compared tot the Rugged Messenger and the Zagg Folio: I can't even believ these products originate from the same company. The Folio and the Messenger have very noce keyboards, te Messenger the best (nicer touch than te Book), but battery life sucks: only an fe weeks. And the Folio just toples over. Zagg doesn't make these Rugged Books anymore, wich is a terrible shame!!!! I am very happy that I coul buy this Rugged Book as an open box-product.

This is the second one I have owned in probably 4 years. It’s dependable and durable (my last one the magnetic hinge broke after several years of use and abuse but the keyboard still worked fine). This thing holds a charge for a really long time with the way I use it I may charge it 2-3 times per year. . I would definitely recommend this item as my experience is Zagg makes reliable products.

Awesome product
The product is very sturdy and really does protect the iPad, I had it on my nightstand one night, and for some reason it fell 4 feet to the floor, when I woke up I saw it, picked it up, and it was perfectly fine. It withheld the fall. And it looks and feels really good in your hands when it’s in book format, with the keyboard behind the case.

Awesome device for your IPad!
Bought this as a replacement for the keyboard I fried (my fault not Zagg’s). This is a must have for anyone that uses their IPad in the field. I use this on the fire truck because it is so rugged. The back-lit keyboard makes it a no-brainer. Just don’t plug it in to a super high output aftermarket RC car charger; it will immediately fry the keyboard. A standard phone usb charger will work to charge the keyboard, which you will only have to do once every couple of months.
