Great Printer! Easy to setup, fast, quite, good features.
Going from an older monochrome laser to this one with colour, wifi, and touch LCD, it's like chalk and cheese. I love everything about it! At this price who would bother owning an inkjet printer except in the case for photo prints on photo paper which is a very specific role requiring a high quality inkjet with expensive pigment ink cartridges, and specialised photo quality paper to really achieve photo quality prints. If you're just after some casual printing of text, graphics, and even acceptable photo prints, which perhaps don't hold up to real photo prints, but they are okay for giving to grandma to put on her fridge, you should not even bother considering the inkjets, and this is a fine wifi colour laser printer for home or small business use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Jump from B&W to Colour
We were still using our Kyocera B&W Laser Printer after 20 years. Decided to brighten our lives with some Colour. But we did not want to be constantly be paying high prices for colour inkjet cartridges. So… Laser Colour had now become a viable reality. When the new Brother Laser Printer arrived I had it working on the iMac in 10 minutes. Excellent colour printouts. Outstanding home office printer
I recently purchased this printer for my home office. It paired with my wireless network easily. With minimum effort I was able to start printing from my iPhone and iMac. fantastic value for a great printer!
Wow, what a nice printer! as an "ex" printer tech I can see this is made for a heavier workload and will probably last 5yrs plus, likely a lot more, I'm sick to death of $29 printers that cost $100+ to replace the ink so is obviously tossed out and turned into landfill, not this one, honestly it weighs a ton but that's because its actually full of parts, not just plastic or sand like some from China... So far I love it, the print quality is fantastic, super crisp text, and holy molly Pix print well too!? I'm really impressed, and it literally arrived the next day, I ordered it on a Sunday night and it arrived the next day at 11AM, I'm really happy I bought this printer, no buyers remorse here! :) Toner is cheap as are serviceable parts, I recommend this to anyone who's tired of buying ink cart after cart, if your just printing pix then this isn't the printer for you, get an inkjet, but for everyone else? I doubt you'll be disappointed, 5/5 from me, I love it!
