    Super faster loading than a hard drive

    Made my computer start up almost instantaneously. My old 7200 rpm HD was old and tired and corrupted enough to take forever to load up windows and apps. Now it really makes my 6700k shine. Apps open instantly, windows loads up from bios boot screen to windows 10 login screen in 30 seconds or less, computer is so snappy. When you build a computer dont use that old HD you got sitting there to save cost just buy this ssd, you get a 1tb ssd nvme m.2 type ssd worth every penny

    It was celled as used but it is unusable.

    M.2 Crucial MX500 1 TB SSD was no use as a boot drive replacement in my laptop. It only worked well with the read function. I could not even get test results with Crystal mark with write function. It would boot and that everything would get frozen. It is end of life for this drive way to match wear. Drive did not past the Crucial executive storage tests.

    Amazing price to performance

    Great sad and cheaper than the samsung brands with comparable performance at a cheaper price point. Real-world users will only notice the difference in their wallets. The crucial software suite has nice benchmarking, backup and firmware update tools in an all-in-one solution.

    WOW, program and boot times are FAST.

    This 2280 1 TB SSD is easy to install. Crucial says to go to crucial clone. Download the cloning instructions/software. Takes less than an hour to clone. On my ASUS GL552VW I had to reinstall the ATK package so my keyboard would light up. NOT a glitch with Crucial, but ASUS. Program load and boot time are about 30% of what they were. I highly recommend this product. One thing..... my laptop only takes SATA3. This drive has 2 notches, one notch has 4 contacts, the other has 5 contacts, Don't force the drive, if it doesn't slide right in, flip it over.

    Good buy so far

    I replaced a HDD which only holds data and virtual memory partition (no OS except Linux partitions) with this one and now boots in 27 seconds instead of 35 - 45. (Windows OS is in another SSD). There are some users' concerns on the durability. But that is yet to be seen.
