  • Great step up from 6400❣️

I started using Sony with the a100, to capitalize on the abundance of Minolta magic color glass. Loyal through some frustrating noises offerings I find myself loving the E-series. I started with the A3 for its amazing low light/noise capabilities.I then added on to the 6400 because I do a lot of birding. The lack of IBS was frustrating because it ruled out most of my a/mount lens selection without solid foundation & high shutter speed. The a7r4 has afforded me mind blowing resolution the likes of witch I could’ve never imagined achievable in a 35mm format. Now with my 6600 I believe I own The very best birding body Sony offers today. IBS, and the bigger battery, present it as the best birding body I can imagine. Shooting RAW & filling the frame as much as possible I get a real nice base for post-editing.Sony has run me through the gauntlet paying for the research and development second only to the IRS regrettable spending. Sony’s had its ups and downs (the flag ship a900 my LEAST favorite 💩)but I must admit the 6600 is a HAPPY DESTINATION. You’re very welcome, I helped finance the R&D for many years and you can take advantage of my investment.

  • Great all around camera with features found on more expensive cameras!!!

I purchased this camera 2nd hand after extensive research and am very please with its performance and versatility. The camera is light and compact good battery life, is well supported with accessories and has class leading functionality got need spend thousands more to get only slightly better utility. I gave a 4 star star rating due the 'rolling shutter' which makes fast panning in video distort the images, this is less of an issue some non sony cameras and other sony cameras that cost 2 to 3 times more. If I were to trade this camera for another model it would be the sony a7riv @$2900 with higher resolution, shutter and ISO functions which may not outperform the reliable auto focus of this camera and while not a video 1st camera doesn't improve the rolling shutter problem. The only other sony camera that remedies this issue has 10bit color with most of the same features and functions at decreased resolution(12mp) is the sony a7siii, but at $4500 is out of the question. This camera by feature and value is the best of the a6000 series line so much so that the full frame A7c bridging the gap up to the a7iii... is based on the a6600. That makes this an easy choice for the money

  • Excellent entry level to filmmaking

I wouldn’t call it an entry level aps-c size but if not ready for full frame yet then it’s a great choice. Eye AF, even in video. Small and light, so easy to pack. Excellent battery life. Image quality will have plenty to do with the Lens but even considering that, great quality. Highly recommend.

  • Great for Travel, Ticks All The Right Boxes

This is a perfect travel camera. It is smaller, lighter, and packed with features similar to it's full frame counterparts (A7iii...). The Z battery alone makes it a winner, you can go all day on one battery charge. I still take my full frame when carrying it is not a issue but for travel the 6600 wins for me.

  • Great Upgrade to the a6400

I started out with a Sony a6400 back in 2019. While it was a fantastic camera, it did not have some of the features that the a6600 offers, mainly in-body image stabilization. Now, with the a6600, I am not limited to the types of lenses available on the market. Plus, the a6600 operates virtually the same as my old camera. Overall, I am very pleased with the a6600.

  • Fabulous camera

Powerhouse for its size. This is my backup when I don’t want to carry my Sony a7riii. The a6600 has great quality and features. This one arrived on time and in perfect condition

  • Amazing mirrorless camera for video

I've been using my Sony Alpha a6600 for a few weeks now. It is AMAZING! It is a GREAT value and I am exceptionally happy with it. Getting up and running was quick and easy. The photo quality is great (24.2MP images). The video quality is amazing at all frame rates and resolutions. The low light performance is great as this is a mirrorless camera. I primarily shoot video with this camera and the footage is super sharp with great detail. Even at 1080P, it outperforms many other cameras (DSLR cameras) I have used in the past (borrowed from friends). I couldn't be happier with my first large camera. It is dense but not overly heavy. It has a good amount of weight to it allowing for fairly steady handheld video shooting. This was a great buy and totally worth saving up a little longer to get. I would absolutely recommend this camera.

  • Greats camera for high quality photos and 4k Video.

Great compact sensor DSL camera. One of the top cameras you can buy in 2020. Lightweight, image stabilization built in, high ISO, and easy to use for video with a gimbal like DJI's Ronon SC.
