Love this machine
I love these portable ice makers. I've had several and I'm hoping this one will last longer than the last one (different brand) we had. They are wonderful and put out really good ice. Maybe okay in a camper?
Might be fine for camping, but not to replace a malfunctioning refer ice machine. It took all day to fill our refer ice bucket. The necessary steps were to fill water, run the ice maker, listening carefully for it to finish (because otherwise the ice starts to melt), dump each small batch onto a container in our freezer, let the ice harden, break the hardened ice apart, dump it into the refer ice bucket. Best Buy Ever!
Seriously one of the best purchases I have ever made. Freed up room in the freezer. Makes ice super fast in 5-7 minutes. Holds it nice and cold. Saves power because you can turn it off at night and restart it when you want ice. Small cubes fit in the bong perfectly. Makes enough ice to fill a large cup in 10 minutes. Best Buy I ever made. Cleaning is super simple. You would have to be special to have trouble with it. Same brand as my TV that I have had for 6 years and is still working like a champ. Couple of notes: When you first get it, remove all of the tape. Even up inside. Hard to see but it's there. Use mild dish soap and warm water to clean. Only use filtered water in it to make ice and the machine will last way longer. Unfiltered will cause build up and destroy the ice nipples on the inside. So will abrasive cleaners. So don't use them. If you keep your place at 80° or warmer it will take an extra minute or two to make the ice. Oh and first batch it makes every time is wet. Just deal with it. Hardly something to complain about considering all ice makers large or small industrial or residential do the same thing. Enjoy this machine and get your drink on!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product for the money!
I've purchased 3 of these ice makers, each of a different brand over the last 5 years. The first 2 had a very short life, less than a year and made odd noises. Lots of ice, low price
Love it. Makes a ton of ice really quickly. Beats having to fill up little plastic trays. I filled up a large cooler within just a few hours. Definitely a good buy. Don't neglect cleaning this machine..
Does exactly what it's supposed to do. There's not a big difference in the size of the cubes, however, the small selection gets you to a bin full of ice faster. Yet, it is still fast making the large size. The product is easy to clean as well by running vinegar and water through for a while. Then simply rinse and you're back to a full bin ready for use in no time. Water temperature is also important as col/cold water will produce ice faster. Definitely recommend this product!

Constant pushing the power on and off...
Sensors don't quite work as they should, it will jam up, and then it will stop making ice, you have to push the power button off and on and clear the ice jam in order to get it going again. Not how it is supposed to work... It does make ice though.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
