    Spool Cap & Spring are Spot On Replacements!

    When my Black & Decker trimmer's original spool cap bit the dust, I had a hard time finding a replacement locally. So I turned to eBay, found the part immediately at a great price, and had my new spool cap & spring in two days. The replacement cap & spring, I'm happy to say, are an idential match to the B&D original, and fit the trimmer spool snugly and perfectly. The materials used in the replacement are of high quality, and I expect to get quite a few seasons out of this old trimmer!

    too lightweight

    This is my second review for this product because they don't last long and I have to purchase so many. I can only afford to buy them in small quantities and they aren't cheap, just made out of cheap plastic. I've ordered them from several sources and they are all basically the same. I wish they would make a metal cap for people like me.

    Exactly what I needed and easy to order

    My spool cap arms if you will both snapped off while a neighbor was using my trimmer. While she was apologizing I kept assuring her it would've happened while I was using it anyways so it's no big deal. Well to me it was kinda a big deal whether she or I broke it off because I don't know the slightest thing about the trimmer except how to use it and put more line in it and it took me forever to learn that. So I went to the internet and first searched the exact trimmer I have and found a site that broke down and labeled each piece of the trimmer and that's when I found what kind of spool cap I needed to order. It turns out I was also missing the spring. So then I came to eBay and searched the spool cap required for my trimmer and it came right up with a spring and all. So I hit purchase and within a few days I got it and it fit perfectly and now my trimmer works perfectly.

    Right cap but works better and feeds automatically without the spring. Tried both and without the spring it feeds automatically and line doesnt get caught in edge of spool cap as it did with the spring installed. works 100%
