GR8 NBN PHONE SYSTEM
Bought for replacement components for an existing system we've had for five years. The existing Twin Pack has served us well, but the batteries were getting a bit long in the tooth and one of the docking stations was playing up, so thought it good to have a set of spares. We didn't even consider a different system as the V-Tech is near perfect with easy setup, great handset design/features, good range and near bullet proof construction - they've copped a hiding over the years and are still going strong. The aforementioned, when couple with the array of V-Tech 'V-Smart' security devices, makes this not only a great phone system, but also a reliable and versatile home security system without the cost of the more 'advanced' systems. The only negative aspect is the apparent inability to set the time to DST - Not a 'war-winner' for us and far outweighed by the postives.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A large clear display, and additional features (dedicated memory buttons, SOS function) make this phone ideal for this elderly, hearing-impaired customer. Westnet Grrrrrr.
Nothing wrong with the product at all. I set it up here with the panic button and it all worked fine with the nbn phone service. Took it to my mother's to install on her nbn phone service and it seems her phone service does not accept either outgoing or incoming DTMF phone tones. So two features don't work. You can't call in and get your phone messages and the person receiving the panic button phone call can't signal that they have received the call.
