    Notorious flop gets super transfer but lacks extras.....

    Excellent transfer on the blu-ray but for this being such a notorious flop and hated film I was little bit let down that no film critics or scholars did an audio commentary track or documentary for this release. You get a couple interviews on the second disc but for this being CRITERION think they would beef up the extras. Instead they sank their efforts into the transfer and restoration.

    Not a disaster, not a classic but enjoyable

    This film is not the disaster is has been accused of being. It is slow in parts and could have maybe a half hour shaved off but many of the scenes are breathtakingly beautiful,especially on thie bluray release
