    Neglected Masterpiece?

    This is a classic Hitchcock masterpiece definitely, and this I believe is the best release for it, but that's not saying much. Audiovisual quality is a bit better than the previous DVD release but there's still obviously lots of room for restoration. A 4K master would be an improvement overall but the problem is this film apparently was produced using soft focus lenses which limits what one can do. There are still many obvious scratches, grain and foreign matter visible here in this master unfortunately. This is a great film all considered, beautiful production. I don't regret buying it, just looking forward to something better. 🕵🏻‍♂️

    A WASTE OF TIME

    The screen image is smaller than standard DVDs and widescreen images. The sound does go high enough to hear everything said easily.The plot is silly, and in addition, there is little to no suspense.
