With a Razer HyperScroll tilt wheel with 3 modes, 13 lighting zones, 10+1 buttons including multi-function triggers, and high-spec features, it's fully equipped with industry-leading advanced technology to maximize your potential.
The price tag is everything but cheap, however for the smart spining wheels, wiressless qi charging compatibility and great light effect, I could not imagine a better product for my daily use.
Sturdy, performant, too little friction on the side material to effectively claw, too light.
I came from a Logitech G502 Hero, one of the best mice I've ever used.
The Basilisk V3 is extremely performant with few (if any) noticeable problems with wireless lag. The buttons are sturdy and the wheel is good (not bad, not great).
My issues with the mouse are in it's design. The G502 seems (though I haven't objectively checked) slightly taller and thinner. As someone who rests my palm on the back of the mouse, and claws the sides with my fingers to move it, the G502 worked really well, as it was made of a material that was made for that action. The Basilisk, however, seems to be made of a smoother material that causes less friction with fingers, which makes it more annoying to claw and move.
The basilisk is also lighter than I would like. One of the downsides of rechargeable, non-battery powered mice is that they tend to me much lighter than even wired alternatives, for whatever reason. The basilisk would need to be torn apart to fill it with enough material to meet my weight preference.
