Overall a satisfactory purchase and I can see how to improve it.
The pole saw is solidly constructed but there are a couple of minor things which are of note. Fully assembled its very heavy which as a 70 year old makes it hard to use safely. I am considering a tripod support to make it safer. It's fine with only one extension rod added. The on off switch feels flimsy and is also positioned so that when you are just getting it into position its easy to switch it off accidentally which is a bit frustrating, however, it probably does need to be the first thing you find in an emergency. Overall happy with the purchase and it certainly has the power to do the job.
